Is anybody else getting 'empty' Bank dropdown lists for every instrument ? The Presets are populated but Bank is empty - is there somewhere to configure this or is it a bug ? I can open each instrument and change the bank from there but shouldn't the Bank list in Prisma be populated the same way as the list in the plugin ?

Did you rescan the vst plugs inside Prisma?
The installer note says something about that being needed to be done.

Yes - the instruments are loading fine and I can load presets - it's just the Bank list that is empty

So you only got access to patches in the default bank for each instrument?MikeCallon wrote:Yes - the instruments are loading fine and I can load presets - it's just the Bank list that is empty
Well, that needs to be fixed, in Predator I think there are over 30 banks, I would like access to all of them

Correct - if you click the instruments icon, it loads up the plugin and then you can select a new bank from there (and the Preset list in Prisma gets updated with presets from the newly selected bank), but I'm pretty sure this isn't how it's supposed to workNumanoid wrote:So you only got access to patches in the default bank for each instrument?MikeCallon wrote:Yes - the instruments are loading fine and I can load presets - it's just the Bank list that is empty

Anybody else see this issue ? I've tested in Sonar Platinum & Live 9.6 (both 64 Bit) and have the same problem.

Seems to run fine in Live on my Mac. I am disappointed about their handling of missing vst's - if one is built into the preset that you don't own it comes up as an empty slot. Now a better marketing approach would have been some indication of what the preset WANTS to add to that slot, so you can decide about buying missing instruments....

Got it working in Bitwig after restarting and then:- "Preferences-- Show errors found with plugins-- Rescan." Think it said the error was to do with metadata, or something... But yeah, point is that regular rescanning wasn't working, I had to find Prisma in the list of problem plugs to get it rescanned successfully.
Now to dig in!

+1 That's exactly how I thought it was gonna work.jc_vt wrote:Seems to run fine in Live on my Mac. With the current feature set this will be good stuff for free.
but I think with a more serious feature set, this could be a commercial product...

According to manual Prisma comes with FX inbuilt
Prisma has its own effect section that lets you use up to four effects simultaneously.
There is collection of 32 effect types to choose from. The effect section is followed by an
equalizer section. All effect settings and equalizer settings are stored as part of a Prisma
Preset.

Thank you.
But does it mean we can use it as a multiFX ( = can it process audio in), or can it only add additionnal FX to the ones from the instruments ?
I'm asking, as i own several RP effects, but no instruments, so i am wondering if it is worth installing it.
From the early videos and announcements, i thought i could use it as a "meta-effect" of some sort, but from the RP webpage, i'm not so sure

I have unfortunately not been able to test it in FL Studio, but I doubt RP effects can be loaded into, at least as of yet.

I absolutely love Prism!! Props to Rob Papen for offering this for free. I only have one gripe, but the issue is of my own making. I segregate my plugins...I have a 64 bit folder and a 32 bit folder. Prisma is set up to read all plugins from one VST folder regardless of 32 or 64 bit. So even though it installs both versions whichever folder I pick becomes the default for both. If they would make it so you could pick a different folder for 32 than 64 it would be perfection. Believe it or not I thought everyone had separate folders for 32 and 64. Since I don't feel like having to change horses in the middle of the stream I'll just use Prism for one or the other. I don't expect the dev to change things for me especially since I'm probably in the minority. Still....great plugin!!!
