The beer is exactly like the t-shirts in that respect. Iron Maiden is singular in their Iron Maiden-ness. I'm not saying it's great, it's just that there is no one else who quite does Iron Maiden quite so well. Whether that's worth celebrating, enjoying with a sense of detached irony, or mocking is something I can't argue for or against. I like the buffet approach--I engage in celebration, irony, and mocking simultaneously.

Interesting, but as we know it was the swift/smaller/easier to manouver ships that made England able to beat the Spanish Armada against all odds back in the day

Moral: Size doesn't always matter, especially when it comes to the tastiness of beer from micro breweries versus mass produced beer

I used to like iron maiden when I was in my pre-teens and a few years ago I saw a recent concert of them. It was disheartening. Sometimes it's better to remember things the way they were. Bands should just give it up while they're still good.

Wow, each to their own and all but I think they're the best they've ever been.

Watching them live is among the best experiences of my life.
