139 euro!? Once I bought a Sugar Bytes plugin and a few weeks later it was 50% off. So I'll never buy a Sugar Bytes plugin at full price.

I also like Cyclop. Sounds great, great way to discover new sounds and an iPad version.

I have way too many vst synths, but I'm afraid I'll have to buy this nevertheless. Really like it.

I'm with you wagtunes, I really enjoy using Cyclop too.

This new release looks and sounds great imho, although I shall have to hold out until they discount it down to half price during their regular sales. I think the CPU issues are inevitable with an instrument offering the features here unfortunately.

I don't deny it's reasonable full price tag, it's just way too steep for my budget knowing that it's eventually going to be discounted. Plus, I am still trying to get to grips with Obscurium which I grabbed last Cyber Monday. Thankfully Factory seems much more straightforward an instrument, and should not over tax my ageing grey matter !

I'm also interested in this, but likewise... It's difficult to drop money for full price when they are known for discounts down to 50% (or more via 3rd party vendors).

I'll wait patiently, but it looks nice.

I'm also a fan of Cyclops!

just spent a couple hours with the demo.
insane beautiful sounds come from this beastie.
have not been this jazzed about a new synth in a while. VERY powerful. VERY intuitive. VERY nice GUI layout.
VERY easy to get down the rabbithole with this one.
HIGHLY recommend the demo. Just set aside some time in case it strikes you the way it did me!

The last video in the demo series, beautiful stuff man, immediate movie scoring material.

Looks great and sounds great. Is a bit hard to get not out of control first but then it begins to be fun.
139 is not the most expensive synth but i will wait for their 20 bucks iPad version...who knows.

I gone trough all the patches and there are really much unique patches inside. Also names like "Donald Trumpet" are a beauty
This synth has really great character and puts a smile on my face while using it and exploring all the little details and tricks it offers.
The best thing i explored in a while.....damn....now the G.A.S. is there again
What i also like that they release it without a too long waiting and trying to create an overhype.....ähhh...cough....Icarus...

 Loving the sounds of the "Landscape" and "Hybrizz" demos from the product page: http://www.sugar-bytes.de/content/produ ... hp?lang=en

The synth is a real pleasure to play with.

I'm way happier with a $99 price point; think I'll wait for this one, but agree, looks bodacious.

IIRC, in the past SB have given discounts to customers who already own a number of their products, haven't they? Kinda "don't ask, don't get" discounts?

That´s the fault maybe these companies do. Most people know they have at least huge sales 1-2 times a year. Or even worse (from a marketing side maybe) i know i could get maybe the same as iPad version in near future for 20 bucks.
A lot companies do this.
U-he does it right for me...there is an intro price and then the price is fixed. Buy it or leave it. Also you know you can get still a good price if you need to resell a licence.
I mean these companies can´t be dumb so i think they all should have something like a marketing research and what will give them the most income over longer time and it works good for them.
But this thread shows that many people are not willing to pay the full price because they know a sale (or cheaper version) will come.

Seems like a fun synth. But with such amount of modulation targets [edited] having two LFO's is not enough.

The four sequensers can be used both as advanced LFO's and Envelopes in addition
