Question if I could Jeez,,,In sx can you set up multiple bus routes for a single project?
Say like a 5-1 bus with stereo and mono tracks and also a stereo in and out bus on the same mixer..
thanx..

Ben, if you're finding Nuendo to be too complex for you, then it's likely that Cubase SX will also be a similar experience.
I'm sure I can figure it out. I used to be damn familiar with Cubase 5. I've just been really busy and not had a chance to look at Nuendo properly yet - on the face of it looks pretty different to Cubase 5.

Thanks
Ben

(BTW. If it seems bizarre that I have Nuendo, without been 100% sure its the sequencer for me, then it is - but here's the reason. I'm the programmer of Cameleon, and as such I have done a product swap with Steinberg, so that we can both test with each others products, to enable us both to produce more stable software.)

I think I set that up by going to the 'VST Connections', creating my BUS settings and saving them.

If I understand you correctly, I've got no idea why you'd want to do it, but It's probably possible.

Some of our recording projects master both to dvd in surround if theres a short video and to cd in stereo.
Rather than starting a new project we'll send tracks to front ,rear, centre etc. and render the ac3 file,,then,,while I can see the layout and location of the session tracks, its just easier and faster to switch the buss and master the cd in regular stereo..
In fact I want all projects from now on to be ready for surround,it's the future, its the reason the boss shelled out for Nuendo...
Thats probably why Cubase will be in someones basement while Nuendo will be at FilmHouse....
