-no ipad version planned of the full version

maybe use the arp with one voice only... but still tricky, we might think about a true legato mono mode.
-sorry for the waveguide clicks. it's one of those very bad "great ideas" you have shortly before release.
will be fixed among all other issues found in the first update during this week.
-use the isolate cc option to have your morph slider-modwheel(very recommended!) assignment survive the preset change.
not too many presets have the morph slider assigned though, as we wanted to leave it to the user to "go from" a preset.
have a nice sunday!

Thank's for the answers!
Interesting....full version? So we might get a lighter version for mobiles at least.
I want to say that the UI is fantastic and this synth is just a lot fun too use.
For me the best one yet from Sugar Bytes.
I ask me since it is a kind of modular if more osc (or different ones) could be added.
This thing especially is a winner for soundscapes and textures for me.
The included patches are really nice and gives a good choice of what sound designer can do.
One question...is it multi-touch friendly for win10 devices?

Anyone else having trouble with the wavetable oscs? They won't load at all on my PC, not sure if it's because I don't store my VSTs in the default C:\ etc. Steinberg location? When I click the menu to select a new wavetable, it comes up with a blank list.

Bizarrely it found the factory presets fine, which are in the same location (relative to the separate drive I have my VSTs on), so kind of strange.

Thanks for the reply. I really like this synth but would appreciate a true mono mode for basses & leads.

Hi Hez,

do you have the same problem with the standalone version which should be found in the application folder of Factory?

Wavetables should be in your documents folder.
Please doublecheck that the Wavetables folder exists in this folder:
\Users\YOURLOGINNAME (your home folder)\Documents\Sugar Bytes\Factory\Wavetables

If you are familiar with Windows registry, could you please look at this key:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sugar Bytes\Factory

To open the windows registry click the windows key + r. Then type regedit and press enter.
Now the regedit application should be launched. Now browse to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Sugar Bytes\Factory
Right click on the Factory folder and choose export, then save this file and send it to me (support@sugar-bytes.de) so i can investigate.

Best,
Nadine

Just want to give SB Factory a big :tu:

I really wasn't going to buy any more VSTi's after Falcon, but I just love this little synth- The GUI is great, the matrix is really useful and fun and I think one of the best modulation matrixes I have used (and I have most popular VSts and a lot of hardware!!)

The demo just sucked me in, I made sounds I liked fast and wanted to save them, so bought it.

SB's other stuff was fun and creative (I have Turnado, Cyclops and Egoist) but this one really pulls it all together, the best of Sugar Bytes creative spirit in a great sounding and very usable instrument. I hope they have a big hit with this one.

From the website:

Matrix Basics
Routing 8 sources to 10 targets makes us happy. No retro plug matrix, of course biploar mod amounts get the job done. And then there's the random button, an optical feast, blurrying your vision for a moment or two. The twerk section with its shenanigans. Get things done with 36 modulation targets. A must have these days.

Congratulations to Sugar-Bytes with the release of Factory! :tu:

Rico could you guys give Unique a big facelift, take it out of those cartoonish gloomy graphics into something more beautiful to look at? It's one of my favourite synths.

we already did that for the android version and I think I remember we wanted to put that facelift to the desktop version as well. I will throw that to the table soon, right now Factory 1.0.1 is my only thought ;)

The little dice icons on the mod matrix produce some outlandish and often musical results!
Love that matrix! :D
