Sorry, I can't be bothered to make such a list. To be honest, I don't understand why any of you would.
Incomplete list of my gear: 1/8" audio input jack.

Currently looking for a Champ or Princeton amp. Always interested in FX pedals

It's interesting to see what other people use and/or brag about our own stuff. And personally I find it helps me reflect on buying/usage habits.deastman wrote:Sorry, I can't be bothered to make such a list. To be honest, I don't understand why any of you would.
Anyway. Current lineup:
Infrastructure/misc:

Twisted-Electrons AY3
Soulsby Atmegatron
Groovesizer TB2

2x Patchblocks with MIDI Block (also can serve as FX and CV control source)

Danelectro French Toast
Little-Bear R.Attack (RAT clone)

Synths
Spectral Audio Neptune 2
Studio Electronics ATC-X QFS
Sonic Core XITE-1 (this one is both instrument, effect processor and PCIe audio interface)
Novation Bass Station 2
Sequential Circuits Prophet 6
Roland System 1m
Apple iPad Pro
Numark Axis 9 (CD player for sample mangling/playback.)
Effects
Kemper Amp Profiler
Blackstar Dual HT Distortion pedal
Electro-Harmonix Cock Fight
The only thing I'm "missing" is a sister synth for the System 1m, probably a Mother 32 or Erebus, but I'm not quite sure which one or even if I want to continue down that path. My idea was to set up a little Eurorack system but not in a full on modular concept but more like marrying two semi-modulars together to make a 3 oscillator mono that would replace the Neptune 2. I wish I could borrow a Mother 32 for a week to see if I dig it, but as it is I'm not sure if the patch cable work flow works in my world.
I might also sell the XITE-1 and get a Modal Modulus .002 and some audio interface. I'm only using it for it's Modular synth (which is pretty kick ass) and effects (also very good) but sometimes I think I'd be better off with a fixed architecture instrument and I must say I do G.A.S. Hard for a .002. I find I just spend a lot of time messing about in Scope Modular, experimenting and exploring what all the modules do (there's hundreds of them) instead of playing. Of course, there's nothing stopping me from using the patches I've created like fixed architecture plug ins. They do have their own preset system, like Reaktor. I flip flop about this a few times a week. What I really know I should do is just start saving for the .002.

Why bother posting? Because this is a conversation, and I feel inclined to voice my opinion.TheoM wrote:Then why bother posting? It's just for fun.deastman wrote:Sorry, I can't be bothered to make such a list. To be honest, I don't understand why any of you would.

I'm not joining into this thread until Wagtunes turns up to tell us how dumb we all are for wasting money on archaic hardware.

I recently had a bunch of synths and romplers but trimmed it down to:
-Roland Jd-xi (2 digital synths + 1 Analog and drums)
-Nord Lead A1
I also use my Ipad as external synth + rompler if that counts
