hey, we just uploaded the 1.0.1 update (demo as well).

- some fx and lp 8pole fixed for fast modulation
- oscillators fixed for clicks (waveguide and wavetable wavefade is now smoooth)
- mono/mono-legato mode added (settings page)
- expensive drive mode added (settings page)
- osx 10.9. compatibility fix
- minor improvements

download and factorize!

I love little quirks like that! :hyper:

Been playing around with the Transformer osc and it's absolutely gnarly - on the verge of some monster sounds. However, modulating Position ends up with quite jumpy/scratchy/atonal noise where you lose the pitch of the note until the modulation stops, which means e.g. LFO modulated position ends up sounding pretty atonal apart from at the ends where the LFO is reversing direction, when it suddenly becomes very tonal, making the overall sound quite inconsistent.

Is there any chance for this to be optimised somewhat (maybe by crossfading between 'grain windows' or something of that ilk)?

Recording from a very simple patch. No external FX.

Loving this synth so far :-)
Nice Textures Fernando!
Yeah I'm also quite interested in this synth. The Matrix Twerk is just endless fun to tweak!

are those fully randomized patches? strangely i have had some nearly same sounding and named patches :(

You just made a sale! Thanks for getting that in so quickly.

A random patch is one selected randomly, not created with random settings and a random name :)

Just trying demo. X64
Seems 'crunchy' on the low notes for some reason. It's clipping or something?

Might just be the nature of playing back very short wavetables at a low frequency - you'll get digital stepping leading to that gritty sound.

Is it like the section at 1:05 - 1:30 here when he plays low notes ?

Also the reverbs sound a bit metallic ...

ok to clear it up a little,

this sounds like the waveguide, not the wavetable.
the waveguide still might click on voicesteal on very low notes, and very low color setting.
voicesteal might happen when triggering quickly(or in mono mode), as in the soundcloud file above.
we are still working out this issue, "normal" playing sould not be affected.

regarding the report on the transformer sound, I cannot agree: the transformer is a wavetable osc (not exactly granular),
so it is not capable of atonal sounds. try the "synthesizer" sample, read it with a slow curve (as described in the end of the oscillators tutorial) and then hit some chords. you`ll have a very nice choir singing the exact word.
You will of course lose the original sample´s pitch. And you will have a jumpy sound when reading lets say a string-sound,
as the transformer finds usable wavetables in the sample and not every part of the sample might be a usable wavetable.

is there a possibility to add a full randomize button so you can get fully randomized sounds? i love this to get inspired! :)

Yeah that's definitely my favourite feature of MPowerSynth - practically every click of the dice brings out a useful brand new idea !

Interesting synth, can't wait to demo it.
