Ugh, some of these issues I think are because I have to play my DAW to send sync data I think. I was just opening it up and patching around on it. Wasn't sequencing or recording yet. That might be why audio rate modulation isn't as smooth as I expect it to be. There is also this quantize module I haven't used yet.

I think Mangle demo is also called same name as Mangle full version. May be a good idea to name the demos with demo in the name.

Is this beta early access price? Buy: £19.99
What is regular price? When will it go into effect?

Edit: Is there a Mangle thread? I want to copy settings from preset to one of my own sound files. So far I've found paste options, but not all settings copy...Edit: Looks like when you load a sound file onto an existing preset, the settings stay (not sure).

I'm so tangled up in the mangle, I don't know if I have time for the tangle.

Yeah, I also had the issue that installing the full version over the demo did not overwrite the demo.
So I removed the two VSTs by hand and installed the full version again - problem solved.
(Windows 8.1 x64)

I really like the Tangle! It's the first modular and the first fm synth I'm drawn to use. Didn't use these types of synthesis much in the past but with the Tangle I find it easy to create great sounding patches. I ran into a couple of crashes and hope the bugs get ironed soon... I'll try to report them to the developper (first time I'll do this because it's worth it : groundbreaking!). Thank you for a very affordable and top notch plugin!

I think I'm getting it, I think I'm getting it...

There is a whole voice section here. I've been stealing voices maybe, and it's all about tuning. I had to go look up exact note frequency values and everything. hahaha. What a joy to actually have something you explore and learn instead of having it all spelled out for you.

When Tangle freezes up, does it eventually unfreeze, or is terminating DAW necessary?

It only hung on me once and that was when I started up the sequencer the first time. I wasn't watching what I was doing with it and I think I made a bad connection or something. I don't know because I never started up the sequencer module again and it never hung up again... so it may have been a one time thing. I don't know because I haven't gotten that far yet. I closed reaper and restarted it no problems.

Mine happened after I resized the bottom window that shows all the various mods/controls. I made it very small and then it froze.

feature request:

make a fully featured 'mangle' available within tangle, as a module. but it only works if you own the mangle plugin already.

as well as being kool, it might incentivise more mangle sales.

With regard to Granular it would be excellent to have (even a cut down) Mangle as a module but even better if there was a granular processor of sound (as opposed to granular player) It could be similar to the one in Vaz Modular or Argot Lunar.

I suggest this as, other than Reaktor 6 Blocks and Vaz Modular, there isn't (to my knowledge) a software modular system that features granular processing and it opens up some incredible possibilities for modulation.

It's probably beyond your scope but if there was a module that hosted a VST or Audio Unit effect that would also exponentially expand the possibilities.

What is the path for Tangle presets on Windows 8.1? Installer doesn't show it; are full version presets the same as demo version presets?

Just fired up the full version after downloading, loaded up Simple Filter Sequence preset in Studio One Professional 3.2.2 and it crashed Studio One.

I keep getting crash dumps when attempting to click on Harm module in lower section (currently using Metallic presets category.

DAW crash when randomly attaching nodes.

AFAIK demo presets are the same, yes.

The crashes are already worked on AFAIK.
