Simon, you especially will have a ball with this thing. Can't wait to hear what you come up with.

Does it load custom wavetables?

Looking at the structure, I'd guess yes.

Here is why.

All the wavetables are coming from sub folders in My Documents in the Sugar Bytes main folder. They all appear to be standard wave files.

So assuming that none of the wavetables are hard coded in the synth (they don't appear to be) I'd venture to say that if you added a user folder with wavetables that they would load as well.

Would you like me to test my theory out for you?

Thanks, I'll try it myself as soon as I have installed the demo.

It does work that way. Just tried it. So you're good to go.

I'll be checking out the demo tonight for sure, but wanted to say as I was listening to the Soundcloud examples on the page, "Shamonic 2" really grabbed my attention as the kind of music I might have made myself, instead of standard EDM synth demo fodder. :D And then several others on the playlist also grabbed me.

omfg... yes, let's do this. excellent twerk s.b. :borg:

Seems to take 10secs to first load. Is it loading all the wav files?

Post

loaded right up here. but getting nasty pops at times. cpu appears ok hmm

It strikes me as not quite as sound design friendly as Serum, due to the interface not being quite as visual -- but still pretty excellent. People have a good point about sales though, and I may hold off for a while on it if GAS doesn't strike in the next couple of days.

Hmm, I just dropped some Serum wavetables in there but all i get is harsh digital noise when i use them in Factory. What wavetables are you using wagtunes?

Am I missing something, or are there almost no numbers on knobs? I don't know by how much I have turned a knob.
