duh. obvious. i mean.. this goes w/o saying. more formats the better. the great thing about standards is there's so many of them.

i also think they should go full scale with the "synth modules in alien birth pods" motif and make every parameter in the form of a breakpoint envelope.

Here's what I'd like to see: an installation that doesn't require 1-2 GB on my boot drive.

Absynth is one of those that I've been long tempted by, but I have a smaller SSD that's crowded already;
why is it not possible for Absynth (and there are other plugins guilty of this) to allow me to install only the core engine/dlls/related files
on my boot drive, and specify another location for everything else?
Am I the only one bothered by this?

Does absynth take up a gig? It doesn't seem to on my system, I wonder what I didn't install? All of my NI sample libraries are on my user drive as are all of my own user preset libraries, e.g., Reaktor. Absynth has nothing there, If it has a bunch of samples I either don't know where they are or I didn't install them.

It was overdue in Oct 2012.
So now it is Way Way Way overdue!

I'm pretty cheap, so take this with a a grain of salt, but, its not worth that. If you don't get it as part of Komplete then it's very overpriced.

Komplete 10 costs $499 when not discounted and contains 39 products. If there were all worth the same then that's about $13 per product. They're not though, some are better and some are worse.

I'd like to see a dedicated iPad app that supports the synth. Not an Absynth app, no, no. I want an app similar to what Specrasonics did for Omnisphere. One that somewhat mimics the Controller page, with options to create dedicated sliders and XY touch controllers.

I'm still surprised that NI hasn't jumped on this for a lot of it's instruments already.

Better yet make Absynth 6 multi-touch capable with a multi-touch GUI toggle. And an optional iPad app like you are requesting. I have a 23" multi-touch monitor and an iPad but would prefer that all VST's are made multi-touch capable to work in the Windows domain. The advantages to be able to use a larger screen if one desires is a major advantage, IMO. No virtual cables. It would simply work.

You still have to add the loop points manually... It is a pain.
