Sounds great. I'm excited about the new features and I hope you'll have another public beta(as you did for 2.8 ),so users can give feedback on the new version. I know it's probably annoying to hear people complain, but I think it might make for a better release. Also try to save some features for other developers.kv331 wrote:Should be around April-May next year.Chandlerhimself wrote:Will Synthmaster 3.0 be released this year or next year? I forgot if it was 206 or 2017. This update was great and I'm excited to try the new features. I can't wait for wavetables.
For v3.0, we'll add
1. New sample content
2. New wavetable content
3. granular synthesis
4. formant filters
5. wavetable / sample editing features
6. redesigned GUI
7. New name -- SynthBastardkv331 wrote:Should be around April-May next year.Chandlerhimself wrote:Will Synthmaster 3.0 be released this year or next year? I forgot if it was 206 or 2017. This update was great and I'm excited to try the new features. I can't wait for wavetables.

Something like below? I'll improve it so it works really well.lolilol1975 wrote: So my wish is a preset browser with user defined tags, and a few dozen tags tags that are automatically added based upon the preset characteristics. For instance, if a preset has a wavetable, is arpeggiated, has a delay, EQ and uses the ladder filter, it would automatically bears the tags wavetable, arpeggiated, delay, EQ and ladder. I suggested using the sqlite embedded DB for making such a database robust and easy to program.
This already is implemented. It doesnt work with all hosts thoughlolilol1975 wrote: As a smaller feature request, using the arrow keys to move among presets.

I am glad I didn't name it after a generic name or animalzenophilix wrote:But Synthmaster is so familiar now.VilianTroy wrote:new name of SM v.3 - SynthMonsta:):)
KV331 Hippopotamus 2 would have been a MUCH better name. Or KV331 Geoff 2. KV331 Lemur 2. I could go on.kv331 wrote:I am glad I didn't name it after a generic name or animalzenophilix wrote:But Synthmaster is so familiar now.VilianTroy wrote:new name of SM v.3 - SynthMonsta:):)
Not that there's anything wrong with it, but when you search on google it makes a big difference
