Forums for other DAWs are always more mature than what goes on with Reason fanboys. This weirdo says he doesn't use it anymore but cries like a girl at any kind of remote criticism. Classic Reason fanboy. Thanks for reminding me why I distanced myself and went on to more professionally used and respected apps
Most stable nonsense free DAW?

Been seeing weirdos like that guy for years. I stopped using Reason at 6.5 and the community, like this guy chk071, was a big reason that happened. Thought I'd drop in to check out info about R9 but I see there's still people who hover around making sure no one says anything bad about their favorite toy.

So you popped into a thread about stable DAW's to find out about Reason 9?TACruise wrote:Been seeing weirdos like that guy for years. When Reason was mentioned as a very stable DAW (which is a fact), you state it is not used in major studios?
When corrected on that and a list of artists was provided, you state they are irrelevant has beens?
All of us in this thread who have mentioned Reason also use other DAW's and yet you single out a guy who doesn't even use it and call him a fan boy?
So, off-topic, moved goal posts, constant argumentativeness, and spurious attacks on a user? Yup, if it looks like a troll, walks like a troll, and quacks like a troll....

Least-stable nonsense-free DAW was not the question. Seriously, I've been using tracktion since 1.6-clintmartin wrote:Free? Give Tracktion 4 a try.

I came here to check for Reason 9 threads and saw this one. Bunch of little children still defend Reason, apparently "buddhabear". GTFO...
"spurious attacks on a user" - You and your troll buddy both pounced on me for my statement about no major studios are using Reason as their main DAW, which is actually factual, you little babies just wanted to whine about it. You're the ones doing the attacking and insane defending of Reason - I could give a f**k less.
Tell us all more about Prodigy and Beastie Boys using Reason almost 10 years ago....
Wanna make a bet if Prodigy uses Ableton these days, big guy?

Yup, definitely a foul mouthed troll full of bluster, insults, and bullshit.TACruise wrote:Whatever makes you feel good about yourselfDJBuddhaBear wrote:So you popped into a thread about stable DAW's to find out about Reason 9?TACruise wrote:Been seeing weirdos like that guy for years. I know this is off-topic, but I keep seeing references to 'Edward'. It was obviously before my time here. Who is this guy?tooneba wrote:Edward is also hostile to Reason?

I think this topic has reached its saturation point and as much as I appreciate everyones input I dont think its necessary to ad insult to any person in anyway guys. If you like Reason use it, I have never used Reason simply cause I could never afford at the time to buy Reason and Sonar. Now my Sonar is dated and long in the tooth.. and getting more unstable as new pluggies are developed and Reaper is reasonably priced and recommended, so that is the answer. If people want to carry on flamimg and blaming, insulting then I should rather lock this thread.
Comeone guys where is the Musicians comradeship gone that was always here on KVR?

Actually, he's different. Afaik, Edward never resorted to troll fights with other users. This seems to be a new troll indeed. Or an old one i'm not aware of.tooneba wrote:Edward is also hostile to Reason?

Comradeship implicates acting accordingly. Where is the comradeship in storming into a thread, and trolling about a certain host? And talking nothing but Le Bullshit, just because you're full of yourself.surreal wrote: Comeone guys where is the Musicians comradeship gone that was always here on KVR?

I've never understood the vitriol behind the attacks Reason gets. It's like people cannot stand that some like it and prefer it over other DAWs?
Reason is like any other piece of professional computer software, it has its strengths and it has its weaknesses. Whether professional studios use it or not is irrelevant if it works for you. It uses AIFF and WAVE just like everything else.
Regardless of any counter-arguments, one thing cannot be denied and that's Reason's continued stability in a world of music software often marred by show-stopping bugs.

I would have written "no-nonsense" instead of "nonsense free"
