Honestly, I don't like vocal music that much. I'm a fan of video game music specifically touhou series. I was really getting into it and started producing similar music to it (never released any) Then I'm like, I need to make money some how from this. My favorite genre other then that was jrock / jmetal type of stuff, but I'm a VST warrior, I spent like a year trying to figure out how to produce realistic virtual bands and then I see all these electronic musicians getting famous in process I'm like SHIT, why don't I just produce that stuff? I mean I like that too, just not as much as rok/metal. and that stuff is native to VST computer musicians, rather then trying to copy real instruments I could just do that.
Then there's like this thing, all the artist who seem to be popular or make money, even underground, literally stick to their genre, they barely deter from it and just produce the same type of sound and style. I mean how would you feel if metallica released some britney spears type of song? lol
I'm currently studying up electronic right now, the genres I'm going for are eurobeat, jpop synthpop, dempa song (I'm sure you guys havent heard of dempa) but while studying and creating synths I listened to some touhou music again and I'm like shit... this music is so good, I should just go back to trying to produce similar. But at the same time I like these other genres and have all these cool ideas for them and song ideas already.
What do I do? Should I just create one profile and stick to one genre? One profile and produce all these genres? multiple profiles and one genre each?
TBH I don't want to have multiple profiles, I just want one simple producer name, one simple website lol.

You are going trough a phase right now, majority of us did, don't bother, you will never get anywhere because you are driven with money and fame in mind and that music seeks heart and soul, it's not just numbers and formulas, people do connect to it, you really need to feel that stuff and wrap it up nicely, that's gift for itself, making stuff people will swallow with joy.
You will get so desperate at one point, so many stress and headaches, sinking lower and lower, not knowing what to do anymore, wasting time and money, swallowing your pride and dignity for what, nothing my brother, just get that stuff out of your head and make music you love, enjoy every bit of it, because, believe me, you will never manage to fake faking, you need first to master the stuff you are faking and you need lot of experience and time, by then, some new genre will pop out and you will be desperate because you wasted your time on something else, that's how that goes.
So make what you really have in yourself and you will feel joy from doing it, if that stuff resonates with people and you get famous for it, awesome, if not, who cares, you are feeling awesome all the time.
But yeah, come back to this thread when you got depressed, until than, I know you will chase this until than, so good luck, don't do drugs, you will feel even worse.

This entire forum is wading through predictions, opinions, barely formed thoughts, drama, and whining. If you don't enjoy that, why are you here?

It depends why you are making music in the first place. If you want "success" in "the business" then pick a genre and stick with it and maybe you'll get somewhere. Maybe.
I don't produce in genres, but have still been lumped in with 'techno'. 'drum n bass', electronica, etc over the years. I think it only matters if you're releasing records/cds and/or gigging. It's a marketing tool.
Just make what you make and let other people worry about which category to put you in. Absorb what's around you and do your own thing. Keep em guessing.
Metallica / Britney collab would be cool imho.

I'm sure most folk would love to earn a few quid from their tracks! Do it because you want to, because you need to & because your passionate about it, its an art form, it's you! It's not a clock in and clock out 9-5 job, you mind numbingly grind through 5 days a week.
As others said, if money is your only objective, your going to give yourself some major headaches & frustration, you'll end up flip flopping to whatever genre is current? If your already set on it, then write Pop music, that's where you might get your 15mins of fame, but even then, that's no guarantee and neither is the money.
Stick to just writing, let whatever happens come naturally, nothing wrong with setting yourself achievable goals, its healthy and I think it would help with your musical milestones.

Forget about genres.
Follow the Timelords' advice about achieving music success:
"Firstly, you must be skint and on the dole. Anybody with a proper job or tied up with full time education will not have the time to devote to see it through.
Being on the dole gives you a clearer perspective on how much of society is run. Having no money sharpens the wits. Forces you never to make the wrong decision. There is no safety net to catch you when you fall.
If you are already a musician stop playing your instrument. Even better, sell the junk...''

you come and go, you come and go. amitabha neither a follower nor a leader be tagore "where roads are made i lose my way" where there is certainty, consideration is absent.

Weird.
(Actually, I don't really know: I just read about it in the manual by the Timelords...).
But yeah, the Timelords (AKA the KLF, AKA the K Foundation, and many other aliases) were:
a) pretty good musicians / producers,
b) renowned for their tongue-in-cheek humour, and
c) rather impressive in their convictions:
They wanted to highlight the shallowness of the pop music world: you can make music that sells well by following a 'manual', by becoming competent within a format, by staying within a fashionable genre.
But what does it mean?
Plus they made some flipping catchy tunes (as well as some wonderful chilled out tracks).

What music speaks to your soul, regardless of genre? All the greats did their own thing, many invented the genres they've become synonymous with. And often they have enjoyed great success, both professionally and financially, sometimes not. I had a friend who is a true musician, he has natural talent and aptitude for all things music. In his teens he could copy virtually anything he heard, on almost any instrument he touched, and still crank out something original. He rejected opportunities to audition for well known acts to devote himself to his personal art. As far as I know, he never pursued a career in music. If you're an especially talented and accomplished musician, as he was, and there are many in this world, you are likely to have options, or at least the ability to create opportunities for yourself. You can approach music as a job, a craft, or a calling, regardless, own it and follow the music that moves you. Or, I suspect that one day you will hate it, regardless of any financial success you might achieve. And even worse, you won't have been true to yourself.
Gaslighting...is a form of mental abuse in which information is twisted or spun, selectively omitted to favor the abuser, or false information is presented with the intent of making victims doubt their own memory, perception, and sanity.
