Firstly, since I'm still kinda new to the forums (I lurk only in the OSC section of the forums), I'm not sure where a post like this really belongs, but I'm gonna post it here and hope for the best.

So, one of my many, many, maaaany musical flaws (I feel) are my intros. They always come off as bland, unimaginative, or just...nooby. I've been trying to closely examine the intros of people who make "good" music on YouTube, and also pretty much anyone who pops up on Spotify. I'm making a little bit of progress I think, but I want to open up this question to a wider audience to see what other gems I can find.

Here's just 3 of my songs just to give examples on how I currently start songs (which basically translates to: one melody and/or drum)

Of course, if anyone wants to toss in other tips based on anything, that'd be cool too, but I'm definitely looking for intro tips especially. Thanks in advance to all who comment!
