Hi, my latest track:

Atomkraft

Image

When I was touring in Germany last year I saw and photographed an abandoned nuclear plant, somewhere between Koblenz and Köln, I think (maybe some german members can give some further clues). It was never opened because of the population's oposition, I was told :D

It was that oposition that inspired me to this track.

Texture
Stringsynth
Drumatic
Cobra1
Vurtbox
Pentagon1
VB-1
Angelina
Phadiz
DreamKiller
Wave!

The voice was made with Readplease free, and 4ormulator vocoder

Hope you'll enjoy :) But if you don't let me know anyway

i really like this, as i do your other postings here - as jdg says
very meditative

and given the inspiration hardly surprising. i like it when this kind of music has a tangible origin - also because i live in japan where the fifty ninth anniversary of nagasaki (august 9 ) has just been marked your piece has a special relevence. i consistently look to creativity to bear wisdom and aid reflection. much appreciated.

nice photo too. :)

Thanks guys :)

jdg: I don't think the volume is too low; it was normalized and fits to the volume level of other recordings, comercial or not.

knockman: yes, often people do not associate Hiroshima and Nagasaki with Three Mile Island and Chernobyl; but they are the different sides of the same coin.

Here, Portugal decided to not go on the nuclear way. Neverthless there are three nuclear plants in Spain close to the border (Almaraz I&II, and Juzbado), the José Cabrera (Guadalajara) is by the Tagus (a river that Portugal and Spain share) and uses it's waters for cooling... And in fact all the seven are too close. An acident in one of them and we are history :(
