My piece, "Ice Schooner" is number one on the BroadJam.com trip hop chart. Weird. I'm not sure I'd categorize it as trip hop, but I'll take the exposure.

Good stuff, Shane.

One of my tunes is #1 IDM at newmusiccanada.com and just cracked the top ten for all electronic.

I suspect putting signature links to music here at KVR pays off for increasing exposure.

Shane, you gotta love the internet. I'm reading this thread 7 hours after you posted the topic and already your tune is off the top 10. I guess on the net fame is measured in milliseconds.

Nah, it's still number one. You probably looked at the Earth chart which is the entire BroadJam database. Mine is only charting on a subgenre (trip hop) as per the first post in the thread. I'd provide a deep link but BroadJam makes it such that you have to drill down to get to the subgenres.

congratulations

putting my songs up on soundclick combined with an apparently pre-existing but latent, obsessive compulsive disorder, has provided one more reason to get up in the morning -- checking my chart positions.

i was recently as high as #12 on the electronica | mellow sub genre, (not even top ten) but have faded back considerably. no staying power -- [where have I heard that before?]
still i find it very inspiring to hear what others on the charts have managed and how real quality in structure, arrangement and production does manage to rise to the top.

so again congratulations
