A single patch eats up 30%-70% of my CPU :D.
No HiDPI/Retina resolution and the rack isn't resizable. :(
Sound wise I have to dig deeper.
Spike with S1 or C8 ?

You can get the demo here: http://www.softube.com/index.php?id=modular (it requires iLok activation, however no hardware dongle needed).

@hivkorn
This is Cubase Elements 8.0.3. I am currently on the road but will check the modular later today on my iMac with Cubase Pro 8.5 as well.

Thanks Hivkorn, the stupid thing is, either i am wrong or they don't let you install
just one product, i have to install this whole thing for one plugin? I don't seem to
be able to find and option to install just individual plugins.

Thanks

@BasariStudios
You have to install the complete Softube Plug-In Control Center. THEN you can choose in the center which plugins you like to install. But first you have to install the whole Plug-In Control Center which includes all Softube-Plugins. So click next and go on. At the end you can choose which plugins are going to be installed in your VST directory.

install everything and after choose what you want to use.
don't worry each softube product especially the FET and dyna are great...

Really Softube? I can´t load any preset in Ableton (Mac). It´s the same strange behavior like Heartbeat - no preset browser. With Heartbeat I got some sounds after installation, it´s a classic synth. But this is modular it starts with a blank screen. Yeah this is a really good hardware emulation <- sarcasm.

do you try to repair HD permissions ?
I can't believe Softube let their product with a such bug... :o

Does it not have a built in preset browser or is it relying on the host to manage presets?

It´s a known issue of Heartbeat AU Plugin. And all there synth have no in app preset browser. You hae to use the DAW browser.

The Workaround seems to work for modular too. "Load it as VST". This issue totally killed my onboarding experience. I have too goolge to get a sound out of this new shiny thing. Hope from now on it impressed me more.

Oeps, I did it again. I bought Modular from JRR Shop. I haven't got my license yet.

While at Best Service Modular is much cheaper and they deliver much faster.

I need to remind myself: don't buy from JRRShop... even when they are the first to break the news of a new release. :?
