If you have 5 favorites, what are they? I'm looking to pick up a couple and there does not seem to be a lot of customer reviews available. If will be handy for me or anyone else considering a purchase to know what others consider their favorite "purchased" refills.

All I need to be happy is one more VSTi.

I have LapJockey's "Flatpack #1" and Zero-G's "Ambient Textures". Both are excellent.

My most favorite is Sonic Reality's Sonic Refill. It is their fist 5 volumes of refills all packaged together. It's the first refill I go to. Because it was so good, I went and bought 2 more refills: World Percussion and Ethnic Instruments. I like them a lot, as well, so I'll keep buying.

Lapjockey, Ambient Textures, Orange 2, Kazahawanna, PUNCH ERM, Hmmm... Useful Noiz, and External Waves!

Have any of you purchased the Creative Essentials collection from Zero g? It looks like you get a lot for your money. I wonder if it is geared more toward dance styles or is it well rounded?

I would recommend the sonic reality stuff. I have vol 8 and 10. They are both very good values especially the instruments of the 60's set. Some really good patches in there to use. Pretty nice price too. I think I purchased both vols for 78 us and some change.

I have Creative Essentials... It does give you a huge amount of stuff for the money, the drum stuff alone is worth it! But... a lot of the NNXT stuff is a single sample mapped across the kybd. Not Good! Great if you find a sound, at the tempo you want to use, but in general you need to watch out for NNXT stuff that is Multi-sampled!! Very important... The NNXT is capable of some great stuff, but it takes the time to do it... Reason Banks does some very good multi's for the NNXT... Check out Orange 2!!

My only commercial experience is with Sonic Reality and it has been very good. But I have looked at the creative essentials and wondered.
