I think so. I was going to sell my V2.5 at one time. I never upgraded to 3.
For what I could get for it, I decided to have them just delete the account and everything in it. I wanted away from those bozo's as fast as possible.

I'd like a for sure confirmation if anyone has more knowledge on this. Yeah I figure I'll sell it for like as low as 99$

You would have to include your version 2 also. When you are selling an upgrade, you are not allowed to retain prior version(s) (since it was used as the basis to upgrade to 3). So the new buyer would be getting both 2 and 3; and if your version 2 was an upgrade from version 1, then they would get 1 too, and you will relinquish all Studio One licenses.
In other words, any time a software has been upgraded from a prior version, you cannot keep the prior versions for yourself. They have to be sold as a package, because they all go together since they were used to upgrade to something else (i.e. 1>2>3). Most if not all software vendors have that rule.

So rather than sell it, you just had it deleted, such a strange reply, while i may moan about Presonus and S1, it is still a very good host, in fact the entire feel of this whole thread is so so strange $99 for S1 3 Pro ? Somebody will rip your hand off so fast it will take your arm too ?incubus wrote:I think so. I was going to sell my V2.5 at one time. I never upgraded to 3.

Re-read it again. Now, what's your question?bungle wrote:So rather than sell it, you just had it deleted, such a strange reply, while i may moan about Presonus and S1, it is still a very good host, in fact the entire feel of this whole thread is so so strange $99 for S1 3 Pro ? Do you mean you want to sell the upgrade to v3 and keep v2? If it is this case, then why not ask the sales support in Presonus?qtheerearranger wrote:I'd like a for sure confirmation if anyone has more knowledge on this. Yeah I figure I'll sell it for like as low as 99$
Logically you can sell it for someone that has v2 and want to upgrade to v3. You need to confirm this from the support though.
I have sold my version 3 (upgraded from version 2). Even though Presonus did transfer the license (version 3) without version 2. But, I contacted them and they also transferred the license of version 2 to the buyer. So, if you want to sell it for someone who doesn't have version 2, then you need to sell it the whole lot (version 2 + version 3 upgrade).
I don't have bad experiences with Presonus as a company! In the contrary, they were always very helpful and they immediately participated in the Kids charity with 5 licenses of S1v3 when I contact one of them. For me, I just found a 'better' host for my usage.
Anyway, as I have hardware products from them, I have S1v3 Artist (bundled free with iTwo interface). So, I bought the VST/ReWire support for $79 today

EDIT*
Never mind, just seen some of your other posts
Wow, that's the pot calling the kettle black. Anyways, you're the one with the accusations. I'm just saying that it can't be that hard to figure out if you can/can't sell. Says in their faq's.
You can sell it as long as everything tied to it is. You cannot sell v3 and not give up your previous v2/1 license. Can't be that hard to understand.

No, I made zero accusations, you clearly stated that you just had them delete your account rather than sell it, but it is very obvious how unstable you are, so i shall leave you to your dillusions.
