Sorry, I don't know how I can help you. You might have a problem somewhere else.

Do you use 64bit version, the standalone? The 64bit with Bitwig and Reaper is mainly what I use. Have you tested it with Reaper? It is good to have Reaper for testing at least (the demo).
I use Live 7, 32-bit.

I second that! :tu:

Omnisphere is another synth that drives me mad with auditioning presets - select a preset, start playing my midi keyboard, then have to move back to the computer / mouse to select another preset..

If there was an easy way to assign a midi controller to change / move up or down through presets, that would make life so much easier..

User manual, page 15.

You can assign different MIDI CC messages to control preset browser

Now all I need is a control surface with actual buttons.

Synthmaster lets you scroll through presets using MIDI CC. Right click on the browser preset area. Then setup your MIDI CC for selecting the Previous and Next preset. I've setup two buttons on my MIDI Controller to handle this. I'm almost positive I've done the same thing with Omnisphere by defining MIDI CC for the little up/down arrow buttons on the browser screen.

Thanks. Right now, I can't play for more than several seconds before a note is hanging. I will often use pads over a keys/piano type of sound where the sustain pedal is very useful. I'm currently in a six week break from playing and looking to refresh my sound set, greatly expanding my use of Synthmaster.

Thank you!
I confess I'm guilty of not reading the manual in detail.. :dog:

I have to say this 2.8.4 is the most complete and best version ever. I have a feeling it has been optimized as well as browsing through presets is really smooth. Congrats for this one kv331 !

Bug: Don´t know, if that was present before...

Please try this:

- Reset the preset (under button "New")
- go to the Arp
- set the number of steps to a higher value as 17-18 (best 32 or --)
- now try to activate/ deactivate the "Slide" and "Hold" for certain steps (best in the middle of the range)

I get here an offset of 4-5 steps I have to go to the right handside, which is getting bigger as higher the step number is... try it and you´ll see :-)

Second: Is there any way to deactivate this "Automatic" sorting of the matrix??? Tbh I like the drag n drop thingie very much but I absolutely unlike this automatic sorting...

Seconded. The matrix made sense to me in the demo, now that I've got it and updated to 2.8, it's annoying... I know most people will just rely on the drag and drop, and that makes sense, but the matrix is nice to fall back on.

I changed the behaviour in version 2.8.4, so if you choose "None" it doesn't filter at all.

Yes of course, but every new instance of Synthmaster goes automaticaly back to "Automatic"

Oh I see. In that case, I'm gonna make it a global parameter so the app remembers it globally.
