Anyway, what's the URL of this Uncle E? I've used Pluginbotique and JRR but never heard of these guys.
All licenses are stocked up and will now be delivered instantly:

Okay, mod wheel is driving me nuts on this one.

Every other modular I've ever programmed, you could always control the sensitivity of the mod wheel on whatever parameter you were controlling. So, taking a simple opening and closing of a filter cutoff, you could program the mod wheel to open the filter a little or a lot with the same amount of mod wheel movement depending on the range you set.

It appears with Softube this isn't possible. I have looked at everything I could think of but something simple like the opening of the filter cutoff is limited as far as the range.

For the first time ever working on a modular synth, I am stumped.

Was this an oversight? Designed this way on purpose?

Is there anybody here who can shed some light on this one?

Heartbeat didn't seem to get much love when it was released. I have it for quite a while now, and I really like it. It's built in FX are class. The whole unit is very easy to use to and sounds damn beefy imo.

I was stoked when I heard it was compatable with Modular. :)

Anyone else having issues with Live 9 (64-bit)? I was able to get the rack to load before I remember to authorize the iLok license but got errors for the modules; oddly, once I authorized everything, Modular will no longer load. It doesn't crash, just does nothing.

Was able to get it loaded in Renoise.

Okay. This is my second and final post in this thread about this, so if anyone would like to pretend that I'm raising some kind of huge disruptive fuss that goes on and on, take note of that

I kinda do believe you didn't mean any offense on purpose. The hostility and "lighten up" and "I don't care" as a reaction to being called on it don't bode too well though.

My brother is trans, and I am nonbinary. You may not think pronouns and names are that important, but trans people absolutely do. It's something they fight legal battles (and sometimes physical ones) over. Call it SJW or PC or whatever dismissive thing you like, but to the people involved this shit is vital.

A former coworker used to use the "him/her/whatever" and "Lisa-or-it-Joe" stuff referring to a pioneer in our industry, and a former band member used it to refer to a fan. They both did it to show their contempt and disapproval -- to make an issue of the person's gender when both the respectful AND the minimum-effort casual thing to do is just not make an issue of it.

And so it looked like you were doing the same, when after tedannemann referred to Wendy Carlos, you had to throw in a "Walter" and "him/her."

There. I've said my piece and will no longer disturb this thread unless I find something to say about Softube Modular.

Any Heartbeat owners demoing Modular able to use the Heartbeat modules?

I updated Heartbeat, but no modules in Modular. Am I missing something?

No problem on OSX (Live 9 64bit)

TY - forgot to mention it was Windows 10 (I do miss my Mac at times though!)

Okay, one last thing about this synth that's driving me nuts.

Just created my first patch and saved it.

Have no idea where it is on my hard drive.

I use Cubase and it's stupid fxb system. It's in there somewhere internally but I have no clue how to retrieve it to put in a zip file for sharing.

They ABSOLUTELY need a preset management system because this is crazy.

Thanks - that worked.

In my case it was not crashing Live, however setting Live to Windows 8 compatibility mode works around the issue (for the record here, Softube is working on it).

No time to play with it proper for a few days, but once I was up and running I was able to map controls and save the patch in Live with no problems.

Send mod wheel to a mixer, mixer output to filter cutoff. Adjust the amount of mod wheel on the individual mixer value. (may be single mixer/attenuators, but I've not delved deep enough yet) Now you should have control over the range of the mod wheel in the mixer.

Thanks. Now, any idea where the presets are stored?

You can order it here:

Is it confusing that I'm calling it the "Softube Modular Doepfer + Utility Module Plugin Package"? Maybe calling it simply "Softube Modular" would be more clear?
Hey sir, how long does the special price go? I ask because I'm stuck doing full time daddy daycare this week and next week might be crazy.

Okay, I did a drive search and found where Cubase decided to keep all this stuff. Makes no sense but whatever. At least I found all the presets.

Yes, Softube needs their own preset browser and FAST.
