Yes, I have indeed played it. Still not got around to the sequels though, which is a bone of contention I have with myself. I think its about time I went through them all now that there's remastered versions.

I loved the Cliff Martinez ST for the 'interesting' remake of Solaris - one of my favourite OST's.

Its not a remake I expected to work, but I think it does.

The only movie ever where I walked directly out of the theater to the music shop down the street and bought the soundtrack immediately. I couldn't even go home without picking it up.

Stephen King's Christine is the most memorable one I can think of now. Also loved Reservoir Dogs but not sure if that's the kind of soundtrack we're going for here.

When I heard Hello Earth by Kate Bush, I was totally mesmerized by that ghostly chorus.

Several years later when I get a chance to listen to the Nosferatu soundtrack, I learn that she had actually sampled Florian Fricke/Popol Vuh

Often considered among Fellini's worst films, no? For those guys writing music for a great director no doubt far outweighed such considerations.

Another nice piece from Rota's great collaboration with Fellini: Juliet of the Spirits' Il Teatrino delle Suore.

there must have been some kind of osmosis between Fellini and Rota. Fellini's Casanova is not that bad, imo

Exodus
Better Off Dead
Somewhere in Time
Frantic (excellent Grace Jones "seen that face before" song)

What Reznor did with The Social Network was solid.
