No I am not the only one answering support requests. Gercek is our 1st level support, me and my brother Levent are 2nd level (for issues he can not answer)

Honestly, this board is almost dead. I no longer ask my questions there for lack of response even after weeks. That's not very good.
Frankly, there doesn't seem to be a very large community of Synthmaster users in general, evidenced by the lack of discussion, and perhaps lack of 3rd party soundbanks, let alone free ones. It's an incredibly powerful softsynth, but I think the interface puts a lot of people off before they give it a fair chance.

Hell, I tried SM for 5 minutes and decided i didn't want it because the interface was too complicated. One month later...

Have you tried sending him a PM?

@thecontrolcentre - You should notice that nowhere in this thread has the member provided proof that he actually is a customer to kv331. That would be the first step to obtaining support. Look at this thread. The OP opened this thread on June 16. kv331 responded to his thread several times on June 17. OP responded to several other users on June 18. At no time did the OP address kv331 at all. Doesn't that seem a little strange to you if he's a legitimate customer with a complaint?

Yeah, ehm, methinks he'd have been more lucky if Kv331 had a bigger support team. More people between him and Bulent figuring out waddup.

In all fairness it must be said that it's long overdue to change the untrue headline of this topic.
Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.

I dont see the point of even having a forum on KVR, take a look over there and you will see posts months old not responded too. To be fair direct mail does work most of the time. If the dev is serious about maintaining a presence on KVR, hire someone to admin the forum, or shut it down.

@zenophilix - I'm actually questioning whether or not this is a legitimate thread. I just can't understand how the OP could have the company answer his post in this thread trying to open communications, and he ignores them and a little later posts that he still hasn't heard anything from the company. I'd hate to think that I'm naturally cynical. If I am I'll have to begin working on that.

Er, yes. And I'm agreeing with you. And questioning if perhaps there's piracy involved. Does KV331 have a system of checking for ownership when someone sends a support e-mail, or am i just full of s***?

Of course we figure out either from the user's email address or name whether he's a legitimate user or not. That IS why I am insisting on asking him his name/email address + without that information I can not lookup which issue(es) he's referring to in our issue database (right now the latest issue number was #7815!).

LOL, there is no way such a small 1 product company can afford a bigger support team. It's already remarkable that it has 3 people involved, even part time. Most indie developers have only one, the author;

You've got banks by Big Tone, Aiyn Zahev, Michael Kastrup, Rob Lee, Nori Ubukata, and more for a total of 1750 more presets above the 1250 already included.

I realize those are through the KV331 site, but that's many of the big name "third party" preset designers.

I'm not sure what more could be done in the preset arena for it.

You're misreading my words. I'm saying that if the person who made the thread is attempting to get support for a pirated copy or anything like that, then he chose the wrong company to pull it with. He'd have more luck if there was a bigger support team and it was less likely of Bulent getting wind of what he was trying to do. Of course, I'm not saying that he is pirating anything, I'm just saying it's a bit suspicious.

Yes, but that's all we have, there's practically nothing that isn't provided from KV331. Great presets, I'm sure, and there's a lot of them(though I can't afford them. time to go cry alone in a corner.), but I find it awfully strange that for such an astronomically capable synth that there aren't more available presets from smaller sound designers, even just tutorials on Youtube. If SM had gained a massive-esque following over the years, we'd be set. Sometimes those community-made presets are what unlock the hidden secrets of a synth.

Again, no bashing. Just saying that more people need to know about SM. :ud:
