just bought an emu 1212m...some questions

hi guys, i'm a new member
first of all, hello to everybody here
i just bought an emu 1212m and i have to say that i'm very pleased with the quality of the sound and the stability of ASIO drivers
i just can't get my head around how PatchMix DSP works! i followed the manual step by step and tried routing Ableton through PatchMix to use some of the DSP effects but the returning sound is awful! it's full of pops, clicks and noises.. i don't know what i'm doing wrong
I read something about a software upgrade called PowerFX that enables direct VST use of the DSP core effects but i cant find it on the emu site...is it out yet???
any help from emu owners is appreciated

Yeah you'll need to wait for the driver update.

The current E-wire solution doesn't work properly and has only been tested in cubase5.1 afaik.

Emu have said they expect the drivers to arrive in the fall.

I guess that's in the next 2 months.
