One week left for the intro offer!
It's honestly a great instrument, at a super friendly price :D

Just picked this up. Even at full price it's a no-brainer for "world/tribal-fusion", etc.
Though djembe's are not my favorite drum (doumbek/conga/ashiko, here), this one has a very nice character/tone. The articulations you've captured and programmed, are superb. I also enjoyed your 'story'. 8)

Nicely done. :tu:
I'm not a musician, but I've designed sounds that others use to make music. http://soundcloud.com/obsidiananvil

Thanks a lot for the purchase and feedback, glad you like the instrument :D

There are two bonus features included in the library but not described on the product page:

BONUS 1: ethnic shaker metronome

40_BONUS_Ethnic Shaker Metronome

This is a very cool Kontakt instrument that was designed to use in combination with one of the automatic djembe patches.
It is based on 9 round-robin samples of two shakers played simultaneously. The goal of this straightforward instrument is to provide a nice organic metronome, it works perfectly when combined with the automatic djembe instruments but can also work great on its own :)

BONUS 2: alternate 'magic' skin

This is a funky alternative skin for all automatic djembe instruments. It's based on optical illusion patterns and will add a touch of visual magic to the Kontakt patches :)

Follow these simple steps to install the alternative skin:
  1. Inside the MAGIC DJEMBE folder, locate the Wallpapers folder (MAGIC DJEMBE/RESOURCES/Resources/Wallpapers)
  2. Replace the file DJEMBE_3A_auto with the file included in the Alternate Magic Skin folder
That's it! You don't need to re-save any patch, all automatic djembe instrument will now use this new skin.
If you prefer to revert your changes and use the original skin instead, replace the file DJEMBE_3A_auto with the one included in the Original Skins folder.
