Receptor 1 Rev C help desperately needed by UK user.

Greetings fellow Receptor users. I put up a post a few weeks back about my Receptor 1 Rev C having issues installing the Superwave plugins, the Novation V Station plugin and loads of free ones. I had some really good help from a couple of users on here, particularly Mark from Australia who managed to sort me with a cloned drive, as it was thought my drive had a messed up OS and wasn't allowing me to install anything.
Well, I have installed said cloned drive and my Receptor continues to refuse to let me install the Superwave plugins on to the new drive (it already had V Station installed and most of the free stuff that I would want). I know that mk1 Receptors support the Superwave and V Station plugins and plenty of the free stuff out there that I can't get installed on my original disk, so I am asking for some specific help here.
Basically, I am hoping that there is someone here in the UK who has a Receptor 1 Rev C that is prepared to let me see if my Receptor hardware is causing the problem, rather than the OS system on the drive. I would really like for someone to plug my drive into your Receptor and then install the Superwave and Novation plugins (I have licences for these, so would not be cheating anyone). I am happy to come to you if you are close enough (I'm near Welshpool/Shrewsbury) or have you come here. I could even send the drive to you if that was easier.
This is a genuine plea and I hope there is someone who can help. Cheers. Dan

Hi kishonadish and andym63,
Kishonadish first: I've had no luck at all and not one offer of help as requested in my original post!
Andy, it is a standard Rev C with the AMD Turion processor, 2gb RAM and 160gb HD. This is all the original Muse fitted hardware for RAM, HD and processor. What are you thinking?
Thanks for the interest. Dan

Hi Dan,
I would have helped but my hard drive has gone belly up now. Shame as I'm only in Broughton (Chester). just up the A483! If I can help, just holler.

Hello
ime thinking if you upgrade the hardware yourself to a revision c pro .
I can provide you with a disk image of the os .
You will need to change the motherboard and processor.
The front panel and audio board hardware are i think the same as in a C pro you just have to connect them to the new motherboard. I can provide you with model and name of the motherboard and processor. They are very common on e-bay you would allso have to put in new ram.It wouldnt cost you more than 40 or 50 quid to get the parts.
if you send me photos of the inside of your receptor i can confirm that the audio board and front panel hardware is the same just to be on the safe side.I have a couple of refurbished rev c.that have been upgraded to pro versions with intel processors and msi/intel mainboards.
The software you are having probs with i am shure will then work.
If you are interested pm me and we can talk on the phone i live in sweden but i come from the uk (staffordshire).
