maybe I should just explain a little. Target for me is to get kind of "idea template" which I can use on different songs (for example songs I get threw the midi import).
Of course I can import the song and then import idea setting for evry track. But the whole idea tool is not that easy to handle (at the moment I am struggling for example that I can not generate more then 4 bars, will fix it, just an example) so that I would have been very glad IF I ever get one setting really working to just take that and use it on a different imported midi.
If it is only possible to save track instrument settings OR idea tool setting I think I would prefer idea tool settings cause I can live (in this stage of composing) with general midi or just adjust the instruments to the vst if I need them.
Of course saving BOTH would be great, but I can imagine that this would be to complicate in the actual setting.
Hope you get my intension.

Dear Attila, I experienced a strange (and frustrating) bug in v3.1b6:
Whilst changing presets in Arturia Analog Factory, all sound suddenly disappeared. First, I thought of a problem in the audio device settings. This is not the case. Rather, it appears as though all tracks had lost VST information. I can load a new instrument and it will start playing again. I opened another song, and the problem affected at least two tracks in that song.

EDIT: Uninstall didn't fix the problem at first, but after re-loading a few files, it appears to have autocorrected.

Hi Attila,
since we cannot edit phrases manually in txt editors anymore,
is it possible to make Phrase Browser look (show, index) of to the actual file names? instead of the names inside the phrase file?
so we can easily rename them.

I suppose you have tried to enter "{filename}" in the "Display As" field. Then it will show the filename.
Would you like to rename them directly in the Phrase Browser?

RC v 3.1 b6 seems to be very instable. It crashes all the time on my system Mac OSX 10.10.5. Its not a special thing, which lets it crash. How can I get the v 3.04.? When I downloaded v 3.04 and installed it, it was not 3.04, but v3. 1 b6.

Really? It crashes? I'll make sure I'll test the beta version more on OS X.
If you can locate crash dumps (Applications/Utilities/Console) it would be a big help if you could send them to me in e-mail.

Hi Attila!
If there is a function " play only selected / UNSELECTED phrases ', then command should be "Extracted UNSELECTED phrases in new track." Otherwise, in this embodiment, it is impossible to extract phrases in new track when UNSELECTED playing phrases!

Another very annoying continuation of the timeline outside the length of the part ! It seems to me that does not need a timeline beyond the composition ... It is not only a visual problem - composition according to the timeline playing outside part .
That is, the party of 1 to 5 bar, but timeline from 1 to 6, then, all the same, the playback will be 1 to 6 bar!

Midi file you dragged to the track, and then converted into a relational form.
Perfectly !
But you see, there are notes that are not located in any of your chord, and do not correspond to your scale!
And what to do? Go to the editor of the phrase and the mouse to drag the notes on scale line or
chord line ?
Maybe it's not all fun and no one wants to automate the movement of the notes to the nearest lines chord or scale?
Drag and drop a lot of notes in the right place with the mouse - it's masochism!
If it is necessary not only to me - please support my proposal!
And it may even be that the already someone is doing it the other way! )))

When you import a MIDI file using drag-and-drop and convert to 'relative' form, notes that are not on the scale, remain the same, only semitone offset is used. The conversion process should not change any notes.
If you'd like to have a variation that forces all notes to be scale notes, and adjusts notes as needed, that is not difficult to implement.

The cool thing icon in
phrases browser that allows you to automatically replace a phrase that is located in the track!
The interesting thing ... I do resize phrases in scale mode, then the browser automatically replaces the new phrase and the phrase becomes a track, by size is the same as the old, but not as she was (by size) in the browser.
Of course, I can adjust the size of the mouse phrase, but it should be done frequently (when I sort out a lot of phrases) ...
Therefore, I propose a supplement: increase or decrease the size of the phrases in scale mode by several times (-2x / -1x / + 1x / + 2x).
it will be very convenient to quickly find the right size phrases in length (in scale mode)!
