It's almost been a year since release, is there any news on vst3 support?

I can't answer the VST3 question, especially since there are VST3 versions available already (which is kind of useless since MJUC doesn't have external sidechain features).
But I can answer that Tony is busy porting and overhauling plugins behind the scenes. In fact, this is the main reason why one of his upcoming plugin updates are postponed. He does read and answer mails (so go that route if you need customer support and/or have an in-depth question that can't be answered here by longtime users), but he's currently just not as active on web boards.

I'm looking for an x64 replacement for VoS ThrillseekerVBL to be used for massive mojo and this particular exaggerated thick low end hype/vibe I liked to use on techno drums. It's very particular and obvious coloration (an understatement, it basically takes the input and replaces it with something that just sounds better
) that I've had trouble producing by other means. MJUC jr, while sounding really awfully nice, doesn't have that same effect, but I wonder if the senior version could do it?
Model 1 of the MJUC and ThrillseekerVBL are both supposedly inspired by 50's vari-mu designs and I don't really care how well they succeed in this task, but whether they sound close to each other.

Thank you! Did not know that. Unfortunately checking Klanghelm plugins out is easier said that done. The audio demo source sounds are from another realm of music, I can't relate well to them, and the processing is (purposefully) overdone... and the jr. versions are actually different algos. Obviously the prices are ultra-affordable, I just want obsess to keep the number of plugins in my setup minimal.

I think Tony respects refunds in case you don't like the plugin. So just purchase it, test it properly and ask for a refund if it doesn't suit you.
You better send him an email first just to be sure.

Cheers, good to know. Not sure if I'd have the nerve to ask for a refund for such a cheap plugin if it's not defunctional, and I'm afraid I'll keep it anyway if I test it, whether or not it sounds like Thrillseeker

Hi all,
I've just released a new MJUC version
MJUC 1.1.0 includes the following;
- FIX: sometimes the bottom panel didn't show up correctly when changing presets (mainly Samplitude)
- FIX: latency issues in ProTools, when using HQ
- NEW: support for ProTools' gain reduction meter
- reworked VU-metering, uses the engine of VUMT now
- vastly improved GUI-performance
- more robust preset browser (factory presets occasionally didn't load on some systems)
- better compatibility for older Windows versions down to Windows XP, so no need for an especially compiled for XP MJUC version anymore
- better denormal handling
- IMPORTANT NOTE for RTAS users:
RTAS has been dropped with version 1.1. From the Klanghelm user area you can still obtain the RTAS version of MJUC 1.0.3, which contains all of the fixes and features from 1.1 except for the PT gain reduction metering.

Danke Tony
It seems existing projects which used the previous version are not restoring the saved settings?

I've tested it twice.tonhelm wrote:Really? Please send an email with your system specs.
Only the preset name is not restored correctly from a saved project with the previous version.
It was displayed as "default" but with the correct modified settings. So more a small GUI thingy if loading a project which used the previous version.
(saving it with the new version and loading it again works as expected)

Great to see the update, however Pro Tools 12.5.2 moves it right away to the unused AAX folder saying it's not valid 64bit AAX plugin:-( Good news is it works fine in Nuendo 7.1

I guess, that PT triggers this error message because of a version number mismatch. So you likely just need to remove the plugin manually from your plugin folder and then reinstall.
Hope that helps. If not, please send me an email with your system specs.

That did it Tony! Awesome support, how come you're able to solve my issue before even posting ittonhelm wrote:I guess, that PT triggers this error message because of a version number mismatch. So you likely just need to remove the plugin manually from your plugin folder and then reinstall.
