- an acoustic production
- more "soundtrack type" material (can be anything from Soundtrack Inspired electronic, to full on orchestra)
Current Song Pool status:
4 tracks - if there are no new tracks, the challenge ends October 2016

Bump again for more content to mix.
3001 reads, and barely any response. Song Pool nearly empty.
Why so shy? We don't bite.

I can only speak for myself, but it's the amount of work required by the submitter reviewing other peoples remixes that is rather off-putting. It's more lack of time than lack of interest.
It wasn't me! (well, actually, it probably was) - apparently no longer an 'elderly', now a 'senior'! Is that promotion?

So far, we had three scenarios:
1) Mix Participants and Challenge Hosts judge the mixes - turns out that this didn't work well at all. The song provider was not happy with the majority deciding for him/her what mix is ultimately best. We stopped that pretty much early on
2) The hosts take over for judging - this happened a couple of times since the song providers were non-responsive after a while. This puts a lot of extra work on to us (the hosts) on top of the extra work we do behind the scenes
3) the Song Provider (aka the client) evaluates all tracks, and decides who ultimately comes out on top - this is the route we've been doing for over 1,5 years at this point. It's basically simulating a "mass audio engineer shootout". And out of the last 19 challenges, only 1-2 people struggled with that. And even then, we try to help behind the scenes.
In fact, we walk everyone through problems and questions. One of the longest conversation I had with a song provider was several months. He thanked me in every PM as he never walked through that process.
So it's a learning factor one way or the other, for all people involved. Communication, Interaction, decision making. All that you see/need with a real Audio Engineer interaction.
Like I said - we won't bite.
