He is working now as visual artist.

I agree. Those were the albums I listened to again and again. Can take or leave the later stuff ...

If Not Franke, Peter Baumann could make a comeback taking reins over the band, he just released a new album on Bureau B

Even better if Johannes Schmölling could sign up again too :hyper:

Their time in the band is my favourite TD periods

I didn't even know Schnauss was part of TD. Well, he may not be a bad musician, but, quite frankly, i really hate his music. He's kind of the only artist i listen to on DI Chillout which really makes me switch channels, because i can't stand that kind of melancholic sing-sang, always sameish style. Each to his like and all that, but i can even hear it's one of his tracks after listening 10 seconds to it. Most boring music ever to me.

Sorry, really needed to say that one time. We all have our musical taste, perfectly fine if someone likes his music, and i hope i didn't offend anymore. It's just not my taste. Absolutely not. "No way" not.

I'm kind of offended that you seem to ignore the reason for this thread, that he is ill, instead you focus on yourself

Well, it's a shame. But i don't know the guy personally, and TD is also rather something i heard from and about, rather than something i listen to daily. So i fail to sense the empathy you maybe feel about it (or not, more likely). Would it make you happier if i'd play the hypocrite, and express how sorry i am about it?

Why not just get lost and listen to some tacky 90's Eurohouse instead.

Ok then, even though i have no idea where you got that 90's Eurohouse from. :P

Maybe this "Shoegaze" style? It's of course a matter of taste but yes, now he is a member of TD ;)

Schulze was not a longtime member of TD. Afaik he was only a drummer on the first album of TD. Most of the stuff he made over the years was as "Klaus Schulze".

Anyway and more back to topic... Schulze had also problems with his pancreas in 2005 so we can say he is not a very healthy man since some years.

There was an attempt some month ago, but that did not work out.
