I would have done bigcat's iowa symphony, but I can't find an sfz for it, and I don't use Kontakt.

Nice job and midi file there. I'm impressed as much as anything that there are three free alternatives that sound pretty good.

I've done some Iowa ones for Maize sampler, but unless you use the Kontakt ensemble script ones they are all solo instruments anyway and not really a full orchestra.

What an awesome shootout! Really shows you the strengths and weaknesses of each of the sets. I'm not sure if you used the staccato/spiccato samples with VSCO 2: CE, however, but I could be wrong.

Next up: let's see what happens when we combine the three, muahaha.

Thanks for these, they are really helpful.

I think I can seriously recommend No Budget Orchestra to trap producers (the hip-hop kind, not the EDM kind) - it does a lot of sounds they need very well. Which I suspect wasn't a consideration for you when working on it, but...

I've been watching the mini-series Centennial and for a moment I though you were suggesting them for beaver trap producers. I thought you Europeans put us Colorado trappers out of business when you guys stopped wearing fur hats. Hum I hate inadvertently waking up at 5am...
