FAW Circle 2 has been mentioned (a couple of times?), it's not on your rejected lists and you haven't yet said you've checked it out - it's a strong candidate, imo :)

Thanks. I just went to download the demo and you have to sign up to a mailing list to get the demo link. Sorry, I don't appreciate having to jump through hoops to get a demo. Plus, those lists are impossible to get off of and I'm already bombarded with spam.

So I'll be adding Circle 2 to the rejected list.

Why do companies make things difficult for prospective customers?

Sheesh, another one where you have to sign up to a mailing list just to download a demo? Why do companies do this.

On the rejected list.

It says "To download Circle², sign up to our mailing list or view the download links below." Notice the "or" ?

If you click the download button, leaving the textbox completely empty, it will show the link in any case.

Let me try.

Okay, downloaded, installed, ran.

Here's the problem. The GUI size itself is fine. However, there are too many controls on one screen for that size. I can't make out the labels. They are too hard to read. A synth with this many controls should have tabs or a much larger GUI.

Okay, I am tempted to close this because I have one winner. Wiggle will be purchased. I am going to give my sound set to both members who mentioned it. You'll be notified via PM when the set is completed. I estimate it will be sometime in September.

In the meantime, I'll keep this open for a little longer in case there's one or two more out there that meet my criteria.

FWIW, Wiggle is deep. It doesn't look it, but it is and you can get really lost in it. Plus, it's easy to make sounds that would be difficult if not impossible with conventional VA synths. WT synths, probably. But not basic VA.

Thanks for the suggestions on this guys.

Keep an eye open for my PM, assuming you have the synth yourself. If not, let me know and I won't bother contacting you.

Because creating sound libraries is my business and I'm running out of synths to make libraries for. It's not a question of "needing" a synth for personal use. I don't need synths for personal use.
Make more libraries for the synths you have... with the complexity and diversity of softsynths today, there is no end to the creative sound design potential.

I think you'd already made your mind up on Wiggle...

It's really not. I just want to add a couple of synths to my business. You see how many I already own. It's not like there are a ton of choices out there that fit my criteria. If I really knew what existed in totality or knew where to go to find out, trust me, I wouldn't bother doing this given how much negativity I knew I was going to have to put up with because if you think this is fun, it's not. But I've honestly run out of ideas. I completely forgot about the Wiggle thread. I'm old and my memory is bad. So shoot me.

1) I don't see anywhere to download a demo.

2) It looks like a very basic synth going by the picture. Certainly nothing that looks like it has extensive programming potential.

Hmm For me there is a Big green "Try it For Free" button...
but you are right, it is a kinda simple synth

Between just these synths in your sig (Dune 2, Serum, Zebra 2, Omnisphere 1 & 2, Synthmaster, Bazille, Nave, Falcon) you could create new soundsets for the next 5 years and not run out of sonic territory to explore.

That seems more fruitful for selling soundsets... but hey I suck at marketing :hihi:
