Coming back to original topic... I tried Ableton workflow with Push as much as possible and it most certainly worked. Made a simple track from scratch to master in under a week:

Launching clips in groups gives good idea about what works and what not. Can do overdubs, duplicate loops and modify them. Browse all tracks, devices add control mixer from Push. Also there's possibility to set launch options for clips, so they are quantized or launch another clip after they end.
Even prepearing clips themselves and tracks to live performance in Session View changes my usual habits, and I must say it changed for better.
Don't know much about Live 9 - But the work flow real fast!

I'm a recent Live 9 convert, started using it late 2015. Session view is definitely an edge for Live as it allows for quick idea generation and remixing possibilities. However there are many other things that I find better on Live, I mainly work in arrangement view and the strength in Live for me are the minimalist UI, quick and endless automation / modulation possibilities and quality built in effects.
My only gripe is in recording. It's a pain to record multiple takes and comp on Live... But for now I have Logic and Cubase for that.

True that. It's not only "too much" but it's also stupid and immature. Why immature? Because you likely haven't thought through how you'll 'turn off' many more potential users of that questionable DAW than you'll convert and by far. Why stupid - especially here? Because anyone who can only afford that DAW at, what 50, or 60 bucks, assuming they have actually done the right thing and bought the license, they are never going to run out and buy the new Push 2 at $900 or even an older, used one at maybe $400 or $500 to run home and use it on a DAW where it works only limited and after some screwing around.
Like we've asked over and over again, go start your own thread and stay out of our topic. We truly don't care what PlayDAW will or won't do ... you're barking into your own wind ... Rolf, rolf, rolf!!!
