Yep, it was that nostalgic "tape-stop" effect.
knockman: Erasure?? Man.. I think Vince Clarke has a headstart in playing on gay clubs. He dressed up as a woman once too. Madman.

Markleford!
Your song is amazing! And it's a dead ringer for TMBG - you should change your name to "John" and then they would have to invite you to join the band!
I was hoping someone could send up Sleek with a Brian Wilson-esque song - since I know how much he loves the Beach Boys, but this is top-notch. And I might be able to guess all the bridge parts later - I think I know most. Bravo.

Oh wait. Markleford will have to be disqualified because his filename doesn't conform to the proscibed standard filenaming convention as set forth in The Official Rules, Section 1 Article C.
And I can't get nikp2000's song because of that problem with websamba. Grrrrrr....

Where's Farlukar with his magic PHP script?

So much so that I kept suspecting that I was subconsciously stealing an entire TMBG song. You™ wrote:Markleford!![]()

However, I set legal precedent by collecting a prize with a similarly formatted entry in the "Island Music" contest. You™ wrote:Oh wait. Really, I can't abide by MM-YY format, as it doesn't show up in the right (chronological) order in a directory structure.
