I don't suppose there is any chance of any of your products getting larger or resizable GUIs Simon?

PB even made a promotion for it now.

Sort of backward sale, punters find out about it first, and then start advertising later.

Maybe they didn't bother advertise from the start, as they thought "Xpand2 for €1, nah it will never take off" :D

Picked this up with my virtual cash.

Sounds good, great selection of sounds (and importantly, they load really quickly) so it's a great little low-CPU rompler in a convenient form factor, that's still flexible enough to be useful. What's not to like..?! :tu:

Upgrades to the full bundle is how AIR will benefit from this sale :tu:

It was down to around $115 a few months ago at Plugin Boutique too.

I second that! Some time ago I bought Transfuser 2, which I really like. But on a 30" screen some fonts and elements are looking so tiny making it hard to operate that thing. I never understood why some developers favourite such tiny graphic details. These are tools, meant to be used constantly and in a studio situation, where you always watch several screens or a mixer, etc. Always concentrating on tiny graphic details is crazy. It reduces the usage and developers then are wondering why people don't buy more of their stuff! (hint)
I wrote AIR support but never received an answer.

I like detailed GUIs, and that usually comes with the price of being small. Now developers are starting to make resizable/vectorial GUIs, and that's very good, but it's possible because now we have bigger screens.

They made these plugins years ago, they've been updating them but it doesn't seem like they are going to make them resizable. I suppose it would be too much work for them, I like AIR products but I also like to tell the truth about companies like them. I will end paying for AIEP3, but just because sometimes is a very good value for the money - the plugins themselves sound very good to my ear, but they are something you like or something you don't, there are no possibilities of changing your opinion in the future. I use their products knowing that support, great updates and listening to the customer is never going to happen.

I'm trying to use Xpand!2 with Cubase elements 8 but it doesn't appear among the VST instruments. It's in the right folder and the license was activated with iLok.

Anyone can help?

In Bitwig I had to remove the exclamation mark from the plugin filename for it to appear.

You know for a £1.000 there's some very nice and usable sounds and a lot of sounds at that. No brainer and something to fall back on.

There is room for improvement, though. All the strings for instance sound ugly on high octaves, there is that hollow noise, very audible on the headphones.

Dude, you are not going to tell me that owning a license for Air Xpand!2 makes me elegible for the Air Instrument Expansion Pack 3 COMPLETE UPGRADE at Plugin Boutique? Dude you are not going to tell me that... Sorry, I lost my head for a moment. Is this true or not?
