Wow, I really like the new look! I always found the old GUI a bit distracting. Big up, thanks for this great freebie and your continued support

Hmm, very strange, works here with default parameter set: Sinus, 440Hz, stereo, 12dBFS peak reads -12 dBFS sum and -15.1 avg.Lesha wrote:The plugin always defaults to RMS SUM, even if I leave it on RMS AVG.

No, when I change it from SUM to AVG, it opens as SUM the next time I load a new instance. It doesn't remember the plugin state.TB-ProAudio wrote:Hmm, very strange, works here with default parameter set: Sinus, 440Hz, stereo, 12dBFS peak reads -12 dBFS sum and -15.1 avg.Lesha wrote:The plugin always defaults to RMS SUM, even if I leave it on RMS AVG.

If you load dpMeter for the first time into you project, then RMS mode is SUM. If you change this in the project to AVG, RMS mode should be still AVG if you load your project again.
Correct: If you add a new instance to your project RMS mode is again SUM (as this is the default plugin state).
dpMeter does not remember the last used setting, sorry. But settings are stored with project. Or just use DAW internal preset system and reload you favourite settings.

He? Sorry what? You'll not find a plugin on earth that change is default settings based on changes you did on another instance. How on earth this would work?Lesha wrote:No, when I change it from SUM to AVG, it opens as SUM the next time I load a new instance. Whoever wants music instead of noise, joy instead of pleasure, soul instead of gold, creative work instead of business, passion instead of foolery, finds no home in this trivial world of ours.
