I do not buy it. He said it likely to calm down a lot of people which hated gol for it's appearance in public. I did not like him but he is coding genius - no doubt.

But if he is a freelancer now why don't he have a twitter account or a personal website? Would be interesting to follow his new projects.

He has made some great plugs in the past, so would be interesting to follow his progress.

I think what he's working on in not related to music. I could be wrong but I think it's video game.

Whoa, so gol is gone? That would explain why I've felt like FL Studio had somewhat lost the plot in recent years, though I couldn't totally put my finger on why.

gol is an abrasive guy, but he is also quite literally a genius. Not going to be easy for IL and FL to carry on without him.

^ Exactly. Gol took a break from FL Studio only very recently. Which is a good news, IMHO, because he was so stubborn regarding some glaring shortcomings in FL Studio (thing like MIDI, time signatures, in-place audio editing etc). Hope new developers give FL Studio some new perspective.

Gol was excellent on trolling IL customers though.

Why doesn't Image Line make a new top edition of FL Studio (above Producer edition) called FL Studio GOL edition
