Wrote this today in double quick time, no drums, just mtron vibes, Mr Ray, SR strings, z3ta pad, bit of acoustic guitar and some wobbly crooning.

Bit of a Radiohead stylee thingy perhaps, the chorus is probably ripped off from somewhere else too, but I can't place it for the life of me! anyway, i quite like it, a bit different.

deja vu

And cheers to the greels for giving me the idea for the lyrics! :-o

top quality mr donkey sir....

i love it when the pad/strings comes in at 1.20 ish. it all seems to get a bit muddy at the end (approx 2.20) but actually as i listen to it again i think it suits the song so was probably intentional.

cool tune 8)

cheers,

steve.

Hehe, must be that big fuckoff z3ta pad ('vowel pad'), I reckon, should perchance turn the delay off on it, ooops!

Post

the melody smells of camper van beethoven - All her favorite fruit off of Key Lime Pie (heard it?)

But it's different enough to make me love it

nice one again!

a very top sounding job. cool arrangement 8)
good songwriting as well!

Since you're inviting comparisons in a way, it made me think distinctly of Muggs' work on "Dust", with Buckcherry's Josh Todd (apparently... I had to Google for this info, as I only know Dust) on vocals.

Brilliant.

Loved it. It'd work with electronic and/or glitchy drums, too, though. :D

bit girly but i really like the string sounds. 8)

Girly? Moi?

Cheers for the suggestions peops, but I've never heard any of those songs, so I don't think it's them I've ripped off. I have a feeling it might be some Led Zep in hippy mode song. :-o Never mind, I'm sure you can't copyright D/C/G!

Post

D/C/G...now why didn't I think of that? Oh yeah, they're chords that's why....

Nice tune as always, donky...
Are you in love or something? you seem to be making these soft tunes more frequenly these days. :P

Nah, I bought an acoustic guitar, doesn't lend itself to the writing of death metel very well!

That, and the fact I gave up drinking Boss super, the world seems a better place.... :hihi:
