@TheoM
I can see there are two illogical behavior of you.
TheoM wrote:They were very important synths to me at the time, i used poizone especially, and toxic on everything.
So why should you change the system that is working properly?... Wasn't it critical for your work?
TheoM wrote: I bought them when I was on windows and they worked absolutely fine. (But I switched Operation System)
So you changed your work environment without any compatible test?

Wow, really? To be honest, I can't recognize a sense of urgency from your claim because of those inconsistency.

The image of Sytrus I posted is from FL studio OSX Alpha... the UI was even newer than the PC version ...I have not installed 12.3 since I never use my Windows computer so I don't know if Sytrus have been upgraded on PC.

For others plugins UI seems the same as PC version... but I don't really use FL so I can tell for sure...
Cool - how were you able to access the beta, I thought it was just available to existing FL owners? I would love to be able to try that.

There is no inconsistency, these products had Mac versions, how was Theo supposed to test them in advance of switching on a system he didn't yet have? I have done the same thing myself, if a company states there is a Mac version then you would expect it to work, its unrealistic to expect someone to somehow get hold of a system, install all the plugins they own on that system and test them before switching.

Yes, unfortunately you have to own FL to try the OSX Alpha. I bought the producer version... I just don't really used it recently.

Post

Fruity lOOPs zoom level is still dependent on the ppqn .
Setting this to the highest value of 960 , fruity lOOps song modus is STILL NOT able to zoom into sample level .Wow

The filters in the sampler instrument are there since Fruit lOOps 3.0 ----> maybe it's time to update the filters ? :tu:
Eyeball exchanging
Soul calibrating ..frequencies

edit: MEH! It's out of stock :x

Oh well, they'll either get them in or I'll get a refund.

the older ones do sound "ropy" , I agree

FWIW, I do like to see (especially) the mixer channel EQ upgraded with the release of rumored PEQ3

If you ask me, PEQ2 is also sub-standard from the great EQs on the market... (for reference, some of my favorite "digital" EQs atm are: DMG Audio EQuick and TDR VOS SlickEQ )

FL Studio already includes many alternative filter choices through plugins.

https://www.image-line.com/support/FLHe ... fector.htm

https://www.image-line.com/support/FLHe ... hilter.htm

https://www.image-line.com/support/FLHe ... EQ%202.htm

You don't like any of that, then there is the world of VSTs. Seriously.

Changing the Sampler Channel default algorithms would be a compatability disaster of epic proportions.

To the obsessing over filter designs there is no end. No matter what filters we include, there will always be something 'better' and someone saying the included filters are bad for some reason.

Our blind listening tests more often than not show even the self appointed 'experts' don't know which is which in a mix or out of it.

...anyhow FL Studio 13 is introducing an all new Sampler Channel. So this conversation is largely moot.

I will point out (if its even necessary) that gentleclockdivider is just a malcontent trolling, and has yet to answer any of my questions.

This BTW is an example of no-win conversations for the DAW developer.

It's like this:

Malcontent: "Your dithering algorithm is crap".
DAW guy: "We use noise shaped dither with perceptual weighting"
Malcontent: "Yeah but triangle density dither is better"
DAW guy: "No it isn't, we have done the tests and have no plans to implement any more dither algorithms".
Malcontent: "See these guys are not serious about music production"

This is why the corporate response is always:

DAW Guy (with tie) "Thank you for your input. Your feedback is important to us, I have passed it onto the development team. We will carefully consider your input and take it into account for future updates"

While in the background, the suggestion is sent to the trash can.

Anyhow. If you really want to make constructive suggestions and be involved in the future development of FL Studio, then please use Looptalk. 12.3 included a bunch of stuff suggested during the last beta stages.

Here is the development process for FL Studio 12.3:

Announcing FL Studio 12.3 Beta

Announcing FL Studio 12.3 Beta 2

Announcing FL Studio 12.3 Beta 3

Announcing FL Studio 12.3 Beta 4

Announcing FL Studio 12.3 Beta 5

FL Studio Release candidate 1

FL Studio Release candidate 2

FL Studio Release Candidate 3

And here is just one of the customer suggestions, from the above we implemented:

In what way exactly?

Provide an audio (better yet .flp project) example with explanation.
