It turned out that "Start/Stop Playback & Jump To Playback Start Position" did not work for MIDI-only tracks. This is fixed now. Sorry about the hassle.
I did not have time to address the chord detection issues yet, but I downloaded the MIDI file that I will use.
Thanks,
Attila

Here is a midi and chord pdf, I just thought it was the way it analyzed the midi that was wrong, not reading the root note first, I don't want you to have to go through every chord to fix it, as there would be a lot more chords it would pick up incorrectly. If it too much trouble just skip this.
Root_Position.zip
Thanks.

Thanks for the Transpose Chords of Master Track, this makes things so much easier.
It would be good to have a transpose within note range setting to match the note range of the vsti so the Phrases don't go out of octave when transposed (unless there is a setting that I missed ?) :

If you add 'Transpose', and 'Limit Note Range' to a track you can achieve this goal.
'Limit Note Range' will transpose notes that are out-of-range up or down to be in the range.
I hope it does what you expect.
I fixed the chord detection, so everything is detected according to the pdf in Root_Position.zip. The shortcut for jumping back to the playback start position also works. I'll upload a new beta version today.
Thanks,
Attila

That does not work how I need, I need RC to to move the whole phrase up or down an octave, it is only transposing the the notes that are over or under the limit.
I need the root to remain the bass.
I have "Phrase Transpose" set to Octave.
Thanks for that info I also found Humanize and Strumming that I can use.
Maybe you could have:

I think there are just too many you would have to change.
RC seems to read the highest note as the root not the lowest ?

You are right. Chord detection was reworked today.crossovercable wrote:I think there are just too many you would have to change.

The old method was not sufficient and detected the inversion of a chord with different root note.
So this issue has been sorted out.
Thank you for reporting it and for being patient with me

Thanks Attila !
It would be good to Solo more than one track at a time if it's possible.

Hi,
we have this in RC's way :
just solo one track and un mute others that you want to hear.
i am ok with current but might be good to have traditional solo / mute function of course.

Hi Attila !
My suggestion :
Scale Filter - will filter out any note not in a given scale (for input notes)
And I always play the correct notes in real time! )))
Sincerely lulukom

Will you explain how the traditional solo/mute function works? Is it when solo overrides mute so they have a separate state, and you can highlight more solo tracks? If you wish that could be easily added, just let me know what you need.yellukhan wrote:Hi,

Hi Attila,
i was trying answering to crossovercable's request
one post earlier than mine:
with traditional i meant Reaper's default for example:

edit for more about Reaper's behavior...
yes as you described already
highlight solo more than one track via pressing to solo buttons,
even muted tracks can added to soloed tracks while mute state active
and when you un solo it stays as muted as before.
i hope make sense
