This is the Render Delay in the wav file compared to render by Reaper.
In Reaper I can also choose to render to mono and write chords to wav file cues, Write BFW (bext) chunk.

I think you are aware of this, I thought it may have been the onboard Intel Video but I tried it with an Nvidia Card and it's the same.

Hi magicmusic,

this is a known problem on Windows. Mouse dragging should be done in a different way, that is why it locks up after a few seconds, and the program becomes temporarily unresponsive. It is big work to rewrite the logic of mouse dragging, maybe in v4.0...

about the mooving loosing maybe Attila can ask in microsoft developer page and explain problem. maybe win 10 have features to avoid this easy or if time can increase to 8 sec is good enough for all. only sometimes the 5 sec is too short. or maybe there is a windows registry key that let user change the time out of windows.

I found a simple fix for this dragging problem.
The era for neverending dragging has begun

The new beta version is being uploaded with the fix.

RapidComposer v3.1b11 is available!

Improvements:

Fixed: "Start/Stop Playback & Jump To Playback Start Position" did not work for MIDI-only compositions (using the internal sequencer)
Fixed: improved chord detection
[OS X] Fixed: dragging a track template crashed
[Windows] Fixed: dragging does not make the application unresponsive after a few seconds
Better error handling when a track template cannot be loaded

Hi Attila great the drag and drop work perfect now. I send you some days ago some report.wer crash files from win 10 about crash when audio device is change. I get this crash in b11 and b10 too always. if you not get it, maybe quit and restart RC again can show it. Are this report.wer files usefull for you and i should send you new from b11 ?

Have other no problems when want change from asio to windows mme or wasapi ?.

another thing. I get always crash when a phrase is chord generator and choose menu "convert to phrase generator" piano run generator or string staccato generator.

I have a idea about store in phrases a sound with track template feature. i think now with track template it look fast possible to program, when have a option that a phrase can store track template too. and in phrase browser can be a option that can choose that phrase together with track template can load or only phrase.
