Good question - must admit I've not heard from Robert in ages.

There's a whole galaxy of weird and wonderful instruments in that class.. while it's not practical to model every last wrinkle of every last one, there's masses of scope to build something with real personality and playability.

Well, that's amazing news. I like Amber1 and I would be happy if Amber2 would cover more DD territory. Are you going to add more sections like Organ/Piano and more effects or it's not planned yet?

I was thinking about Strobe 2, could you tell me if Strobe 2 has stereo unison?

You can use the Trans-Mod with the pan to spread out the voices from left to right.

I'm excited for this one. The strobe update was a big step up in terms of usability. If this is that good then I'll be among the first in line to grab it. I'm not a huge fan of the new GUIs but they aren't so bad that it hinders usability in any way. Cypher is one of my favorite sources of bizarre sequenced sounds so having a version that does this without killing the CPU so much and having all the fx without loading fusor should make for some great fun.

Been playing with cypher 2 and indeed it is a huge step in the right direction as was strobe 2. Even in beta all of my previous v1 Mac bugs were stomped out. Can't wait for Amber 2!

Strobe/cypher et al. Still the best implementation of the modulation system around. Everyone else should follow. The traditional mod matrix should be relegated to the pages of history!!!!

My guess is that it won't be this year. There have been no new beta's either .
