Hahaha, yeah, that would be awesome. Can't really justify buying another Pro-One though...beely wrote:It does indeed look fabulous!

Lend me 2-3 freshly serviced Prophet 5s for a few weeks and I'll add it to DivaElektronisch wrote:If only it was pro5 emulation
Unfortunately the Pro-One has a very different architecture, being all analogue and stuff. Without a Prophet 5 around I can't really model it. I furthermore seem to hallucinate about second hand prices for Pro5s, I haven't come across one that's priced appropriately - especially for Rev2s which has ICs that the world has run out of. It breaks, it's dead. The fake chips offered on ebay don't look like they'd sound the same

Hahaha, nope... P10s are supposed to be pretty unreliable, no?db3 wrote:Here's 2Urs wrote:Lend me 2-3 freshly serviced Prophet 5s for a few weeks and I'll add it to Diva![]()

Also, a quick glance on the schematics tells me that they might have changed the voice design a bit over Rev 3 Prophet 5s. It's not identical as far as I remember.

Those London Craigslist prices look very suspicious to me.
Juno 60 - £120
Memorymoog+ - £1200
CS80 - £2600
Maybe the ads are from 1990... ?

Wouldn't a standalone P5 synth be better? DIVA is already packed with modules. I was hoping NI would do a Pro54 to follow up Monark but it looks unlikely.Urs wrote:Lend me 2-3 freshly serviced Prophet 5s for a few weeks and I'll add it to DivaElektronisch wrote:If only it was pro5 emulation![]()

I guess I misunderstood that reply.Urs wrote:Final version will use muuuuch lessNumanoid wrote:Just being idle it uses 43% CPU
Seeing it being stated:
"Please download the plug-in, check it out, it's free forever (but won't be updated other than to the final commercial version), try some stuff, build an opinion, take your time, discuss and vote here in this thread."
So my conclusion is to uninstall it. Sort of catch 22, I have no need of a free plugin if it is gonna use that much CPU

All the more reason to model a rev2 no? Before they all die off they could be immortalized in Diva.Urs wrote:Lend me 2-3 freshly serviced Prophet 5s for a few weeks and I'll add it to DivaElektronisch wrote:If only it was pro5 emulation![]()

Why not just make more of them?Urs wrote:especially for Rev2s which has ICs that the world has run out of.

Yes I'm sure customized ICs would be cheap to manufacture in small quantities of less than 100,000....
