Hearthis groups are open - post your groups here

Soundcloud has removed the group feature and many users are not very happy with this and other decisions. There are long threads about this also in the Soundcloud support forum.
If you have not used this feature or not seen it yet, this is the official statement:

Groups are being removed August 22nd

As well as adding new features, we review existing features to see if they’re still beneficial to the community.

As we dug into the best ways for creators to share their work and connect with others, we found that Groups aren't working as well as reposts, curated playlists, and messages.

With that in mind, we will remove Groups on Monday, August 22nd to make room for future updates.

Until then, you can collect, like or repost the content you would like to save, and connect with your fellow Group members.

If you are a Group moderator, we suggest using a profile to curate. You can use Reposts and Playlists to share suitable tracks, and accept submissions via Messages.

Anyway, Hearthis (http://hearthis.at) started with groups, so they are now a real alternative to Soundcloud.

If you are already on Hearthis and opened an own group/or post your tracks in an existing group please add this groups here. You can of course also add your own hearthis page

Thanks for the heads. I will give this site a try for now, but you know it's only a matter of time before it goes soundcloud right? The problem is nobody under the age of 45 is playing their own music. It's all samples of other people's work now.

For now this site will survive on your data and ads, but sooner or later it will want to sell for a profit and it will have to get rid of all the copy rite infringements.
