it is just that: shorte.st and the redirecting to other websites.. Doesn't fit in.

Quite an effort for just 8 presets. If I had downloaded them directly from the free section at KVR I'd be more grateful. I assume you're making money off the downloads. To me it all feels like a bit of a scam to be honest.
This is the same method MJ used when he was working on Anthony Marinelli's Thriller.

You have a good point..
But perhaps trying to make a bigger pack of presets and selling it at some website would be good for you. Why not considering that? 8 presets for free (demo) and full pack is for some $
