just curious, does anyone know/have any samples of that kind of screechy kettle noise used on loads of hip hop records? House of Pain - Jump Around, Cypress Hill etc...

Screechy kettle noise??! I'm not sure what that is. I think the house of Pain sample was actually Prince screaming. I'm not sure which Cypress you're talking about but if its something like Insane in the membrane, then the main noise is a whisle sample and the other screech is a vocal sample too. I wouldnt know where to find stuff like that. Its probably faster to get a mic and screech into it yourself. :D
