So I found this really nice website: http://musicmap.info/ (http://musicmap.info/)

Musicmap attempts to provide the ultimate genealogy of popular music genres, including their relations and history. It is the result of more than seven years of research with over 200 listed sources

But what really makes this site stand out is how they visualized everything. (don't forget to zoom!)

I think anybody who is (even slightly) interested in music, would like this site.
