Hi all,
Im James from London and ive been making music for a good 5 years now in some guise or other, and in the last year or so have started to get to a more decent level of production, though I still have a long way to go and there is obviously always new things to learn. I mainly make electronic RnB ( though I dabble in almost anything I can. I use Logic Pro X with stock plugins and have recently purchased Sylenth (classic). I use a nektar LX61 as my midi controller and a scarlett 2i2 for any mics or guitars.
The problem I have been having is with sylenth. It functions well but at some point almost every day one of the channels with sylenth on it will reset to a different preset to the sound I have made, which is incredibly frustrating if I have spent time editting a preset expecting it to still be there when I next open it up. I have the newest version and dont seem to be doing anything that might antagonise it to swap preset. If anyone has any tips or advice it'd be greatly appreciated!
Many thanks,
James
ps. Hope this is the right format/place to post - please correct if not

There might be "program change" automation in your MIDI clips, or coming from some other source.

As far as im aware there is only volume and cutoff etc etc automation on the tracks which are in bold at the bottom. If there was some kind of program change how would you get rid of it?
