I thought there was something about setting the song length, which otherwise was 1000 bars by default? Hmmm... maybe that's Logic...

Well I thought I knew what the "project duration" was but maybe I don't. Where is it? Is it the marker that I drag to make the blue shaded area accross the track area?akisd28 wrote:You have to set the project duration properly - if you have it set at 30 min. for a 3 min. song... well, you'll have to wait too much!

I found it faster than that, With 6 tracks open in Sampletank 2, it took 5 to 6 minutes to freeze the lot. A 3:30 songerussx2 wrote:In cubase sx2, Why does it take 3hrs to freeze a track? Is there any way to make it quicker? I can not find out how in the manual.

I am freezing a atmoshphere track. Also I will freeze a The Grand track. maybe they take more memory than ST.
If you think my tracks should only take 5 minutes let me know why and how please. I would appreciate it.

6 minutes to freeze a track in a 3:30 song? Should be more like 30-45 seconds at most... very most really..peppy197 wrote:I found it faster than that, With 6 tracks open in Sampletank 2, it took 5 to 6 minutes to freeze the lot. correct me if i'm wrong, but freezing should take as much time as rendering the same track to .wav
