I may be daft on this one, but without Gigastudio (or a sampler that works with giga format, which I don't think I have) is there any way to extract the audio files?

Any one know of a utility for Windows that'll do it?

Cheers,
Steve

VSampler does also load giga files. Maybe you have it.

It looks good except for the file sizes.

27.3mb for a hi-hat. 36mb for a snare! Yikes!! :o

Big files: *nodnod* long tails would be the drawback to sampling with heavy natural reverberberverberatberationion.

I like the variety of "instruments" though. :-) Thanks for the link!

Thanks Andreas, although I'd be happier with a utility to extract the WAV files. (Something along the lines of AWAVE). Not really itching to learn a new sampler/instrument.

I looked quickly there this morning, but got the impression it was Mac only (based on screenshots, I didn't have time to look at specs). I'll check again posthaste.

Thanks.

Given that it says "CDXTRACT for Windows, Mac OS9 and Mac OSX" at the top of their page, I now feel shamed.

Not my day for paying attention, as it looks like Awave can handle this as well. Pay me no mind.
